The Dirty Gran Fondo in 2017 will not require you to have a cycling license or to buy a Day License. We strongly recommend that you are a member of either MTBA, Cycling Australia or Bicycle Network and that you also have a current Ambulance Victoria membership. Membership to any of these will ensure that you are covered for personal injury and damages that could be caused to others however as stated above they will not be required. We have made this move because we understand that alot of you only participate in a few events in a year and do not want a full racing license to a cycling organisation. The costs of day participation licenses have once again increased and we feel this would make our event cost prohibitive to you the entrant and that’s not what we want. So we are running this event under our comprehensive public liability insurance coverage however this does NOT give you the rider any personal injury insurance. It is as the old saying goes ‘enter at your own risk’

Mountain bikes must have MTB styled handlebars (flat or riser) and a minimum tyre width of 1.85inch. Bar ends ARE allowed on Mountain Bikes.
Cyclo-cross bikes must have 700c wheels and road styled handlebars – NO AERO BARS.
Mongrel – Anything else you want this category to be – Singlespeed etc

2 weeks prior notice prior to event: Refund of your entry fee minus a $20 admin fee. 30km event – $10 admin fee.
